UC-UTCC believes that there are other data available at various Thai ministries (Health, Education, Environment, Forrest, and others) as well as other researching institutes. It is within UC-UTCC’s interest to collaborate, facilitate and train to prepare and archive data sets and associated document including metadata in a professional standard practice.
Currently, UC-UTCC Internet Library contains a variety of data for Thailand. These can be used as an integrated research and advisory tool for academics and policy makers. The data include microeconomic data on households and firms as well as macroeconomic data from the Bank of Thailand and the National Economic and Social Development Board (NESDB). Intermediate between these two are village-level data from the Community Development Department (CDD) and provincial level domestic product data from the NESDB.
UC-UTCC would like to encourage all data owners to cooperate with us whether they want to deposit their data inside or outside of the UC-UTCC Internet Library. We believe that our services on various trainings, exchanging metadata, data library or virtually hosting data can assist those data owners’ needs in some ways.
